Using deposits with calls

If you receive deposits on sales calls - payments that aren't meant to be payments for products or services but solely as placeholders until a followup call, you can track this in Glance. 

1. First, if a payment comes through from a call, no matter how small, it will mark the call as "Closed" 

In order to change this to a "Deposit" simply toggle the selector to "deposit" under "calls" 

This will remove the call from "closed" call stats, and mark is as pending as a deposit. 

2. Once the final payment comes in, you must manually assign a second payment to the same call. This will automatically change the call from "Deposit" to "closed" and assign both payments to that call and customer as one single transaction
